PALMEDIA Media Transfer Demo Movie Instructions
Lee Moon 2/3/97

% Run the PALMEDIA Media Transfer 2.0 HyperCard stack.
% Run Slurpee on the Newton. Make sure you have more than 125K of free storage (either internally or on a card). The movie will use 95K of storage space after transfer.
% Click on "Configure Settings" and choose the serial port settings that applies to your system and Slurpee's settings (running on the Newton).
% Click on "Transfer Movie Directly into Newton".
% Answer the dialog box asking if the Newton is connected.
% Select the "LeeMorph" movie and click "OK".
% Click on "All Frames" when asked whether to skip frames or not.
% Enter "Morph" (or whatever soup name you'd like) when prompted for the Newton soup name.
% Sit back while the movie is converted and transferred to the Newton one frame at a time.
% When PALMEDIA Media Transfer is done, quit both Slurpee and HyperCard.
% Run PALMEDIA Player 2.x and select the "Morph" soup. Put PALMEDIA Player in movie playback mode and tap on "Play" to start the movie.
% Here's something fun: Tap and drag any frame to the side to put the frame in the clipboard. Quit PALMEDIA Player and drag the image onto an empty note in the Notepad.
% Scrub out the "Morph" soup when you want to delete it from Newton storage.
